Kingsman : The Secret Service pays tribute to The Man From UNCLE

Collin Firth in Kingsman : Secret Service

Kingsman: The Secret Service is a very stylish film that mixes humor with the most extreme violence. Director Matthew Vaughn describes the film as a "love letter to the old-time Bond movies and the super-spy films and TV series he grew up with", such as Avengers (1961) Ipcress (1965), The Prisoner (1967) , The Man from UNCLE (1964) Our Man and Flint (1967).

The tribute to The Man From UNCLE appears in the way Kingsman enter the organization's headquarters: through a tailor shop in Savile Row, the most famous street in London for men's clothing. The tribute comes to detail when the agents open the secret door inside the cab pulling a hanger. Just as Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin used to enter the secret headquarters of UNCLE, in the (much more modest) Del Floria's tailor shop in New York.
